The Experience

The Experience

Dining at Velvet Ember is more than a meal—it’s an escape. From the moment you walk in, the space invites you to slow down and savor every detail.

Soft jazz floats through the air, glasses clink gently under golden chandeliers, and plush velvet chairs cradle guests in comfort. Every table tells its own story—anniversaries celebrated over five-course meals, first dates illuminated by candlelight, quiet evenings spent sipping aged wine.

The service is seamless, the wine expertly paired, and the desserts almost too beautiful to eat.

Guests don’t just leave with full bellies—they leave with memories. Because at Velvet Ember, the most important ingredient is how we make you feel.

Come for the food. Stay for the fire.

A Culinary Story

A Culinary Story

In the heart of the city, tucked behind elegant doors framed in black and gold, a dream came to life—Velvet Ember. Born from a love for elevated cuisine, romantic ambiance, and storytelling through flavor, Velvet Ember is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience.

Founder and executive chef Julien Moreau had a vision: to create a space where guests could escape into a world of warmth, elegance, and culinary wonder. The name "Velvet Ember" was inspired by two of his muses—his grandmother’s velvet-lined recipe book and the glowing embers of her wood-fired hearth, where he learned to cook.

The restaurant's signature ambiance is a modern homage to those roots. Deep crimson fabrics, candle-lit tables, and subtle ember-like lighting create an atmosphere that soothes and seduces. Every corner tells a story—of love, fire, and the kind of timeless dining that lingers long after dessert.

Velvet Ember isn't just about what’s on the plate—it’s about how it makes you feel.

Inside the Velvet Ember Kitchen

Inside the Velvet Ember Kitchen

Step beyond the velvet curtain and into the heart of Velvet Ember—the kitchen. Here, precision, creativity, and fire collide in beautiful harmony. Executive Chef Julien Moreau and his team work with laser focus, guided by intuition and years of fine dining experience.

At Velvet Ember, the kitchen isn’t just a place of preparation—it’s a stage. Flames dance beneath cast iron skillets, delicate microgreens are placed with tweezers, and sauces are brushed like paint onto hand-crafted ceramic plates.

The ingredients are locally sourced and seasonally driven. Whether it’s the ember-roasted duck breast with wild berries or the smoked beet tartare with citrus ash, each dish captures a balance between earthiness and elegance.

What defines the kitchen at Velvet Ember isn’t just the food—it’s the passion that burns behind every plate.
